What’s the Kasaoka Bay Farm?

You can enjoy beautiful flowers in each of the seasons at Kasaoka Bay Farm. Rape Blossoms
and Poppies in the spring, millions of Sunflowers and Cosmos swaying in the breeze in the summer and various
others throughout the year. Kasaoka Bay is one of the best spots to visit especially for photographers
with the seasonal flowers providing spectaclular and beautiful backgrounds.

Farm’s Market

We sell locally grown, fresh agricultrual products and fish from Kasaoka Bay’s reclaimed land. The Uomiya market has a tremendous selection of fresh fish and is avaialble everyday. Please be sure to check out their specialty items like Hijiki and Dried Ash. Kasaoka Farms original brand as well the Kasa No Ring brand are available. Be sure to to check out the gifts and souvenirs as well!

The market is open everyday full of fresh vegetables, fruits, fish and condiments. Favorites like Hijiki and Haiboshi are available.
Hijiki is a delicious, edible seaweed and Haiboshi is an unique, “ash” dried fish. Great gifts of handmade crafts and flowers are also available.

Restaurant Shikisai

Come enjoy Restaurant Shikisai. A Viking style restaurant with a vast selection of delicious dishes made of fresh fish right from the waters of Kasaoka Bay.
Cooked to perfection by our wonderful chefs and all avaialbe at resonable prices.

Rate: An adult for 1,200 yen
Elementary school for 800 yen
A child (3 – 6 years old) for 500 yen

Sunflower cafe

Come try our soft serve ice cream. Grape is a local favorite!
Also try the fried potatoes and beef skewers. (Available take-away) You won’t be disappointed!

Poppy cafe

Opened in October of 2016, the Poppy Cafe offers delicious sandwiches as well as a fresh bake shop. Come try a favorite, croissants made with delicious Poitou Sweet Butter direct from France.

Come by our information station to find out all there is to do around Kasaoka. Here you find pamphlets as well videos playing on our monitors of all the sites to see.
